Photography

I have a background working in both the photographic and the architectural studio, giving me a comprehensive understanding of the workflow of photographic images from first specification through to completed planning document. Using this experience I customise the way I work and the images produced to create a trouble-free handover and integration for the other disciplines who will be working with the images. This in turn speeds up the production of finished verified view photomontages including panoramas and verified views / AVR's.

I use the Canon 5DSr (50.6 Mp) full frame high resolution digital camera, which boasts on of the resolution available for a 35mm digital SLR. The 50.6 mega pixel images are 8688 pixels x 5692 pixels which will produce prints up to 74cm x 48cm at 300dpi without interpolation or upscaling (A0 sheet with 5cm border). To get the most from the high resolution produced by the camera I use Canon professional lenses which have excellent colour transmission, minimum distortion, high contrast and detail rendition including the range of Canon Tilt-Shift lenses for verified view images. A list of the kit I use can be seen on the Equipment page.

Using the above equipment I create images that are used for

Hever Castle, Maze and Gardens

Battersea Power Station After Dark
