Project Milestones

So as to give you a rough idea of the timeline/workflow that happens between a Quote Request and the delivery of the final images.

  1. Receive quote request.
  2. Discuss the shoot and any special requirements with client.
  3. Receive map locations of required views and site details (boundary / height etc.).
  4. Quote production.
    1. Convert supplied map locations to street locations.
    2. Pre-visualise each photograph.
    3. Produce detailed quote.
  5. Quote accepted.
    1. Gather information about the rest of the supply chain.
    2. Surveyor and CGI contact details.
    3. Discuss with supply cain what information they need fromm me.
  6. Create Field of View (FOV) study for project.
    1. For each viewpoint produce a FOV map to confirm lenses to be used.
    2. Confirm with client and planning officers lens choice from the Equipment list, view direction and FOV for each viewpoint.
  7. Photograph the site/building.
  8. Prepare the proof images and album.
    1. Create a secure Dropbox folder (password locked if requested) for the client to view the proof album on.
    2. Create a selection of low resolution proof images (1500x1000 pixels) of each location for the customer to choose from.
  9. Supply address for the Dropbox project folder (password locked on request).
  10. Customer supplies list of the selected images.
  11. Create folder for the surveyor and supply client selected images and documentation shots plus kmz file of viewpoints.
  12. Create folder for the CGI staff with required information.
  13. Produce full size high resolution TIFF / JPEG final images.
  14. Produce Verified View Method Statement document including supporting images.
    1. Add full size Tiff or required images to the Dropbox folders for client and CGI company.
    2. Add verified view method statement document to clients folder.
  15. Check client is able to access folders.
  16. Invoice client.
