Contract Requirement

Produce ten verified views following standards outlined in the Verified Views Methodology document taken from agreed locations around the Anthology Wembley Parade site with winter foliage to display maximum visibility, return for an eleventh image during summer foliage to show the reduced visibility experienced from the residents garden in Danes Court.

Project Details

In the heart of one of North-West London’s most vibrant and international neighbourhoods, Anthology Wembley Parade sits within a larger redevelopment adjacent to Wealdstone Brook.

Brent is in a period of change as the area around the National Stadium has seen a radical transformation, making Wembley a new strategic area for the city of London. Anthology Wembley Parade is located between what could be described as 'old Wembley' and 'new Wembley', making the site one of the high-quality developments that now occupy this area.

The natural rounded shape of the site is defined by the meandering of the Wealdstone Brook whose path over time gradually changed to its current curved route, this natural process provides the inspiration for the curving architecture that creates an exciting and dynamic building with a distinct identity.

The organic form of the building creates a sympathetic layout that sits comfortably on the site and reflecting the natural geometry of the locality. The curved shaped is applied to the footprint of the building and balconies, animating the façade and smoothly blending it in with the local area.
