Panoramic Architecture Page 5 - Low light and night #1

The following wide-angle panoramas were photographed after dark for various projects around the UK. As these images are supposed to represent the experience of a night time landscape it may take your eyes a moment to adjust to the low key lighting. These are best viewed by selecting the image so that the background can be dimmed and using the arrow keys to switch between them.


St. Paul's Cathedral - London

The cathedral was photographed in late October from the millennium bridge. This image is composed of multiple frames stitched together to produce this wide view.


Trundle Hill Fort - West Sussex

The Trundle on St Roche's Hill was a Neolithic causeway enclosure followed by an Iron Age hill fort. This image is composed of multiple frames stitched together to produce this 180 by 40 panorama.


Fosse Way - Leicestershire

The view North at midnight around the summer solstice close to the Fosse Way in Leicestershire, pale blue-white noctilucent clouds can be seen above the cloud base. This multi frame stitched panorama is roughly 225 by 40.


The Lobster Pot - Canvey Island

In Great Expectations Dickens mentions the Lobster Pot pub, time moves on as it now is flanked by a fuel storage depot. This image is composed of multiple frames stitched together to produce this 180 by 40 panorama.


Halnaker Windmill - West Sussex

The Halnaker windmill is a Grade 2 listed building, World War 2 observation post and the site of Neolithic Earthworks and is located above Halnaker village. This image is composed of multiple frames stitched together to produce this 150 by 40 panorama.


Hadleigh Castle - Essex

Hadleigh Castle was constructed by Hubert de Burgh in 1215 and its ruined remains still overlooking the Thames estuary. This image is composed of multiple frames stitched together to produce this 225 by 40 panorama.
